ACOUSTICAL PANELS – A25 E A29 – ASCENDI, S.A.

The project an execution of the sound barriers applied in A25 and A29 freeway – Concessão Costa da Prata – was made by Arouconstroi, S.A.

This project refers to 13 alignments that sums 3.630,00 m2 of Sound Barriers, from which 1.235,00 m2 are in woodcrete, 1.710,00 m2 in galvanized steel and 685,00 m2 in acrylic.

In this project, the solution adopted was a combinationof woodcrete (wood + concrete) barriers with insertionsof acrylic and galvanized steel barriers. The selection

of the different materials is related with the location of each barrier, paying attention to the best fit regarding the characteristics of the alignment and the sound mitigation needs.
